As we drive through the Federal City, I will fully explain the many sites we will view and visit (subject to your interests and the tour length selected), such as:
Federal Buildings:
The White House and related buildings, U.S. Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Department of Defense (Pentagon) National Archives and numerous others.
Monuments/Memorials:
Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, U.S. Marine (Iwo Jima), WWI, WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Air Force, Martin L. King, George Mason, Albert Einstein, and more.
Arlington National Cemetery:
Change of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, final resting place of President Kennedy and his two brothers, Robert E. Lee House.
Museums & More:
The many museums of the Smithsonian Institution and the National Gallery of Art, Ford’s Theater, Holocaust Memorial Museum, Corcoran, Newseum, and other private and boutique museums and galleries.
